Dosta su skuplje od Jet Cat-a, ali su sigurno veoma kvalitetne...
Inače Behotec turbina sa 13 kg potiska troši na punom gasu 0,5 lit. kerozina u minutu.
Naravno ovo je samo jedan mali podatak, nikad se ne leti model pun gas, sem na poletanju ili u nekim figurama, ali i tada kratko...
Kod Galeba sa većom turbinom može biti problem i tank jer mora imati bar 3-4 litre, a to treba smestiti nu model.
Kupio sam u petak šper i mislim da ću ga sutra nositi sa sve Corel fajlom na sečenje rebara trupa.
Tako ću u konačno uživo videti koliki je Galebov trup ustvari.

Hello Ali,
as you can see on RC Universe, I'm working on my jet project, Galeb G2.
After some drawings I made, I have few question for you. With your big experience, you are my best option to get right answers.
I have Ziroli's Panther with Jet Cat P 80. It is 10,3 dry, and with 2,1 liter fuel on take off it start like a rocket, on our grass airfield need no more than 25 meters.
F9F fly great with half throttle, no need full throttle at all, just on take off...
But, Panthers dimension is little small, and I saw that modeler increase Ziroli plans for 20% and use same equipment (P80).
That was my idea, but I start thinking if I need to invest so much time and effort to draw all ribs and other parts, maybe I can made some new model, something new on marker...
So, I start working on Galeb G2...
Galeb is exactly 1/5 scale, fuselage and tail will be wooden construction, with foam wings. Fuselage is longer, but narrower.
Wingspan is 2,06 meters, with tip tans (tip tanks have some little fins) total wingspan is 2,32 meters.
I think that weight will not be more than 12 kilograms, with fuel 14 - 14,5...
Finally, here is my question, what do you think, will P 80 be enough for that model?
I was looking for bigger jet engine, and saw that Jet Cat made no more P 120. Next is 140.
Dimension of that engine is not a problem, it can fit in fuselage, but what is a diameter of a tail pipe. On Galeb fuselage hole on the last rib is just 110 mm. If I put two wall pipe, inner pipe hole is not more than 95-100 mm.
Is that enough for P 140?
And finally, if I made decision to buy P 140, can I order it from you?
Do you have some second hand, but in good condition P 140?

Hi Mirce.
I have been following your thread on RCU. What a great subject. I love this plane. I actually sent an email to two different kit makers that I work with right now saying that I would like to make a model of this jet, as I think the lines are really good, and ideal for a model.
At a weight of 12Kg a P-80 will be more than enough power to fly it for sure. We have flown a model at 18kg fully fuelled with a P-80. Weight is not the only factor. The G2 has lots of wing area and this is almost more important than light weight.
Yes the P-120 is finished.
I have run P140's inside the same tailpipe as a P-120 with no problem.
I will be happy to supply you a P-140. The problem is getting them from jet cat right now. The demand is high, and production from jet cat is low. I have two units coming to me today, but these are already pre sold for a long time. I have another 4 P140's sold after these, and I cannot say when Jet cat can meet these orders. Sorry.
Sorry, nothing P-140 used. I have such a demand for this turbine right now, that I even had to sell my own P-140's that I had reserved for my A-10 project :(

Mirce, pazi ti da te Ali jos ne zezne i ukrade ideju o pravljenju kita za Galeb !
Odmah mu reci u startu da ćeš mu ti rado obezbjediti kit ili kitove ( kako lijepo zvuči ) za daljnju distribuciju !
ovo je jedinstvena šansa da napraviš kit aviona i od toga pođeš zarađivati ( odnosno da hobi malo finansira sam hobi ) !

Danas smo Ali i ja do kraja razmenili 16 mailova...
Saznao sam par interesantnih stvari i otklonio neke nedoumice, pogotovo oko turbine.
Pitao sam i za trapove i dobio savet da bolje da koristim za "broj veće". To su Behotec C 50.
Što se tiče Galeba koje Ali hoće da pravi, biće verovatno 1/5,5 ili 1/6 skale. Naravno "njegovi" neće biti u kit varijanti nego gotovi modeli, ili skroz drveni ili sa plastičnim trupom. Kako kaže, hoće da prodajna cena bude što niža.
Usput sam ga pita da li bi hteo da bude diler za kit Galeba G2 koji radim (naravno, podrazumevaju se vrhunski kvalitet kita i letne performanse) i dobio sam odgovor da bi vrlo rado to prodavao.
Priča se polako "zahuktava"...

Imam mali problem, odneo sam juče šper na sečenje i danas mi javljaju da ne mogu da ga proseku, kao table su malo krive.
Da li ima neko da mi od 3 mm topolovog špera, iseče rebra za trup.
Poslao bih pripremu u Corel-u... Priprema je za 3 ploče 60x45 cm.
Plaćam šper + sečenje...
