T-rex:
How hard your tires? Like really hard plastic or like plastic with rubber? I have Tamiya TT-01D, stock drift tires good for speed drift but not for slow, I bought HPI T-DRIFT for slow drift. http://www.r2hobbies.com/eng/proddetail.php?prod=rcvp3320010

Punto Abarth:
not really plastic, more in a direction of rubber, but harder rubber, with really slick surface and hard foam inserts.

Soft set is way softer, feels much gripier under the fingers.

Looks like mine from the kit, try T-Drift tires, or make them from ABS pipe, you will see really big difference. And why you want to make minus?
Also you can put electrical tape on tires

@ bigneda:

@ T-rex: trying to make - cambers in front because of:
a) trying out different handlings
b) trying to put low offset wheel tucked under wheelarches :)
